BIBLE BLACK

Re-issue on vinyl LP+7"EP collecting the various demos recorded between 1981 and 1983 by American BIBLE BLACK, a short-lived yet fascinating band founded by former ELF/RAINBOW members Gary Driscoll and Craig Gruber together with guitarist Andrew "Duck" MacDonald. During those sessions, the band featured vocalists such as Eric Adams (MANOWAR), Jeff Fenholt (later associated with BLACK SABBATH) and a very young Joey Belladonna before he joined ANTHRAX.

Musically, the recordings showcase a classic Heavy Metal sound deeply rooted in 1970s Hard Rock while gradually moving towards a more metallic and melodic direction, foreshadowing the style many of its members would later develop in their better-known bands. A highly valuable historical collection that rescues the long-forgotten recordings of a true cult act.
