TOTTEN KORPS

Debut album from 2001 by this veteran Chilean Black/ Death Metal band, one of the most important acts to emerge from the South American extreme Metal scene during the 1990s. With "Tharnheim: Athi-Land-Nhi; Ciclopean Crypts of Citadels", TOTTEN KORPS introduced a dark, epic and aggressive sound that merged the ferocity of Black Metal with the power of Death Metal, while establishing a distinctive identity built around mystical atmospheres and concepts inspired by ancient civilizations and forgotten mythologies.

The album stands out for its sharp riffing, elaborate structures and dark, immersive atmosphere, setting it apart from many contemporary releases of its era. The band successfully balances aggression, technical skill and darkness, resulting in an ambitious work that has since become a cult classic within Latin American extreme Metal and one of the cornerstone releases of TOTTEN KORPS' career.
