NECRODEATH

Debut album from 1987 by Italy's NECRODEATH and one of the cornerstones of European extreme Metal during the 1980s. Released at a time when the boundaries between Thrash, Black and Death Metal were still being defined, "Into the Macabre" became a pioneering work thanks to its combination of speed, aggression and a dark, sinister atmosphere that set it apart from many of its peers.

Musically, the album delivers a ferocious assault of extreme Thrash Metal packed with razor-sharp riffs, frantic rhythms and relentless intensity, anticipating many of the elements that would later become essential to both Black and Death Metal. Ingo's savage vocal performance, Claudio's outstanding guitar work and the overall ferocity of the songwriting make "Into the Macabre" an undisputed underground classic. More than three decades after its release, it remains one of the most important and influential albums ever produced by the Italian extreme Metal scene.
