LORD VADER

CD reissue collecting the album "Goliath" (1986), the band's 1983 demo and two previously unreleased songs written in 1987 and finally recorded in 2001 by this veteran Polish Heavy/ Speed/ Thrash Metal band. Although it never achieved the recognition of some of its European contemporaries, LORD VADER developed a distinctive sound that successfully blended the epic spirit of classic Heavy Metal with the speed and aggression of mid-1980s Speed and Thrash Metal.

The songs stand out for their powerful riffing, dark melodies, dynamic arrangements and an epic atmosphere that at times recalls both the more aggressive German scene and the adventurous spirit of traditional Heavy Metal. The addition of the 1983 demo and the two unreleased tracks makes this release a comprehensive retrospective of one of the most overlooked and deserving cult acts of the 1980s Polish Metal underground.
