8th album from 2012 by the Swedish project led by Andreas Hedlund (BORKNAGAR, OTYG) and another chapter in the nature-oriented era that began with "Jordpuls". Performed entirely in Swedish, "Orkan" is part of the band's conceptual cycle based on the natural elements, representing the element of air within that series.

"Orkan" blends Folk Metal, Progressive Metal and Melodic Black Metal with the distinctive identity that has always defined VINTERSORG. Complex vocal harmonies, atmospheric arrangements and folk-inspired melodies coexist with more aggressive and intricate passages, resulting in an epic, dynamic and highly evocative album. Through expansive songwriting and a strong melodic sensibility, the band successfully balances accessibility and sophistication in one of the most inspired releases of this period.
