Debut album from 2013 by this Canadian Deathcore band with strong Sludge influences. With "Apotheosis", CALCULATE introduced an extreme and suffocating sound where the brutality of Deathcore merges with complex song structures, syncopated riffing and dense atmospheres that give the band a distinctive identity. Moving beyond many of the genre's common clichés, the band crafted a technical and oppressive album that maintains its intensity throughout.
