5th album from 1992 by the American EXODUS, a controversial yet highly interesting work of Thrash Metal and Groove Metal where the band partially slowed down their usual speed to explore a heavier, darker and more experimental sound. “Force Of Habit” retains the trademark aggression of EXODUS while incorporating crushing grooves, more elaborate song structures and a denser, more muscular approach that has divided opinions since its release. An underrated and far more solid record than many remember, showing the band expanding their sound without losing their violent, streetwise identity.
