re-issue with 2 bonus of the only album from 1989 by Swiss INFECTED, one of the wildest underground acts to emerge from late-1980s Europe. With "Dark Century", the band crafted an explosive hybrid of Thrash and early Death Metal, blending the speed of technical Thrash with a level of aggression and darkness that anticipated the rise of Death Metal in the following decade.

Rather than focusing on the denser brutality of later Death Metal, INFECTED builds its sound around blazing riffs, frequent tempo changes, intricate lead guitar work and relentless intensity, keeping the album in a constant state of controlled chaos. Although it never achieved the recognition enjoyed by some of its contemporaries, "Dark Century" remains a genuine cult gem for fans of extreme Thrash and the formative years of Death Metal.
