3rd album from 2015 by American Thrash Metal cult act VIKING and the long-awaited return of one of the most respected names from the West Coast underground scene. Released an incredible 26 years after "Man of Straw", "No Child Left Behind" ended one of the longest absences in Thrash Metal and proved that Ron Eriksen and company had lost none of the intensity and personality that made their first two albums underground classics. For this comeback, VIKING also featured Gene Hoglan (DARK ANGEL, DEATH, TESTAMENT) on drums and Mike Gonzalez (DARK ANGEL) on bass.

Rather than relying on nostalgia alone, "No Child Left Behind" presents a band sounding revitalized and fully inspired, blending classic late-1980s Thrash aggression with more mature and refined songwriting. Speed, sharp riffing, dynamic tempo changes and relentless energy remain at the core of an album that successfully preserves the spirit of "Do or Die" and "Man of Straw".
