SARKE

6th album from 2019 by Norway's SARKE and another strong statement from the project led by Sarke (KHOLD, TULUS) alongside the unmistakable Nocturno Culto (DARKTHRONE). Following "Viige Urh", the band further expanded its musical horizons while remaining rooted in the Black/ Thrash Metal foundation that has always defined its sound.

"Gastwerso" features a stronger emphasis on keyboards and dark atmospheres, blending Black Metal, Thrash Metal, Doom Metal and dark Rock into a remarkably varied and distinctive work. Hypnotic riffs, melancholic melodies and a pervasive sense of gloom run throughout an album that finds SARKE experimenting more than ever without sacrificing coherence or identity. One of the most adventurous and unique releases in the band's catalogue.
