- New
9th album from 1985 by Australian AC/DC and the first to be self-produced by Angus and Malcolm Young alongside Harry Vanda. "Fly on the Wall" retains the band's unmistakable Hard Rock identity while featuring a rawer sound and drier production that set it apart from its predecessors. It also marked the first album written and recorded following the departure of drummer Phil Rudd.
Rather than aiming for the polished approach of earlier successes, AC/DC delivered a tougher and more straightforward record that stayed true to the band's trademark energy and simplicity. Although it was initially one of the most divisive albums of the Brian Johnson era, it has since earned greater appreciation as an underrated chapter in the band's extensive catalogue.
