EXCRUCIATION

Reissue collecting the 1987 debut mini-LP "Last Judgement" together with the "The First Assault" (1986) and "Prophecies of Immortality" (1987) demos by Swiss EXCRUCIATION, one of the pioneering acts of the Swiss Thrash Metal scene. These recordings capture the band's early years, when they played fast, aggressive and technically accomplished Thrash Metal heavily inspired by the mid-1980s German school, before later moving towards a darker musical direction.

The material retains all the raw power and authenticity of the European underground, featuring razor-sharp riffs, dynamic songwriting and an intensity that anticipated the genre's evolution into more extreme territory. An essential collection for rediscovering the formative years of a cult band and some of the finest examples of 1980s Swiss Thrash Metal.
