14th album from 2016 by Germany's SODOM and one of the strongest releases of the band's modern era. "Decision Day" delivers a devastating blend of aggression, speed and power, driven by razor-sharp riffing, relentless rhythms and a strong war-themed atmosphere that runs throughout much of the record. While preserving the raw edge that has always defined SODOM, the band benefits from a powerful production and particularly strong songwriting that successfully balances the ferocity of its early years with decades of accumulated experience. Widely regarded by many fans as one of the finest albums of the band's later career, it proves that the SODOM machine was still operating at full force.
