Debut album from 1979 by German ACCEPT, released at a time when European Heavy Metal was still taking shape. While the music retains a strong 70s Hard Rock influence, it already hints at many of the trademarks that would soon establish the band as one of the leading forces of German Heavy Metal.
The material captures ACCEPT in a formative stage, offering a more diverse and less aggressive approach than on their later releases. Even so, Udo Dirkschneider's unmistakable vocals and Wolf Hoffmann's guitar work already point towards the direction that would lead to classics such as Breaker, Restless and Wild and Balls to the Wall, making this debut an essential chapter in the band's evolution.
