Only album released in 1992 by this American Thrash Metal band, one of many highly skilled acts that remained hidden within the underground during the early 1990s. With "The Damnation of Humanization", AFFLICTION delivered a powerful and direct approach built upon strong riffing, intense rhythms and a clear influence from the aggressive and technical side of American Thrash Metal.

The songs combine power, speed and precision, maintaining an effective balance between heaviness and complexity without drifting into excessive technicality. The band displays a strong ability for crafting dynamic and memorable material, supported by inspired guitar work and a solid rhythmic foundation.
