7th album from 1983 by Britain's RAINBOW and the band's final studio release before its temporary split in 1984. Led by Ritchie Blackmore and featuring Joe Lynn Turner on vocals, the album represents the culmination of RAINBOW's more melodic and accessible era, further developing a Hard Rock-oriented sound while retaining the high level of musicianship and songwriting that had always defined the band.

"Bent Out of Shape" blends elegance, power and memorable melodies through a collection of songs filled with strong riffs, catchy choruses and outstanding performances. Although more accessible than the band's early releases, the album still showcases Blackmore's distinctive guitar work and the musical sophistication that made RAINBOW one of the most important Hard Rock and Heavy Metal acts of the 1970s and 1980s. A fitting and highly enjoyable conclusion to a significant chapter in the band's history.
