Debut album from 1990 by American TOURNIQUET and one of the finest examples of Technical Thrash Metal from the early 1990s. "Stop the Bleeding" immediately stood out thanks to the exceptional musicianship of drummer Ted Kirkpatrick and its highly original blend of Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal and intricate rhythmic changes. Despite its Christian lyrical themes, the album earned widespread respect among extreme metal fans purely on the strength of its musical achievements.

One of the album's greatest strengths is how it anticipated many of the ideas that would later become hallmarks of Technical Thrash Metal.
