BLACK WIDOW

Debut album from 1984 by Belgian BLACK WIDOW, one of the many bands to emerge during the explosion of European Heavy Metal in the 1980s. Although they never achieved the recognition of some of their contemporaries, the band left behind this sole studio album, which has since earned cult status among fans of obscure underground Heavy Metal.

The album blends classic Heavy Metal with touches of Speed Metal and Hard Rock, delivering straightforward, catchy and energetic songwriting. Rather than aiming for complexity, BLACK WIDOW focused on effective riffs, memorable choruses and a raw, streetwise attitude, resulting in a record that perfectly captures the honest spirit of mid-80s European Metal.
