Official release of the long-lost album that was originally intended to become the second release by American VICTIM. Recorded in the spring of 1984 shortly after their debut "Power Hungry", the original master tapes were lost for decades before eventually being recovered and restored, allowing "By the Neck" to finally see the light of day more than thirty years after it was recorded.

The recovered material clearly reveals the band's progression beyond its debut, delivering a stronger, more energetic and more refined brand of US Speed/ Heavy Metal that highlights VICTIM's considerable potential during the golden age of the American metal scene.
