Debut album from 2018 by this Portuguese band from Leiria and an ambitious Progressive/ Symphonic/ Death Metal effort distinguished by its personality and musical scope. Released only a year after the band's formation, "Automata" presents an elaborate conceptual work inspired by spirituality, the human condition and a distinctive steampunk aesthetic.

Across more than an hour of music, DALLIAN blends Melodic Death Metal, symphonic arrangements, progressive structures and rich atmospheric textures. The occasional use of Portuguese guitar, carefully crafted orchestrations and the balance between aggression and melody give the album a unique identity, resulting in complex and dynamic compositions that reach far beyond the usual boundaries of the genre. An excellent hidden gem for fans of ambitious and sophisticated extreme Metal.
