2nd album from 2022 by the Chilean MORTIFY, a complex and atmospheric Death Metal work that combines elements of Death/Doom, technical Death Metal and progressive passages in a dense, abstract and highly immersive approach. “Fragments at the Edge of Sorrow” builds a fragmented and dark sonic universe where non-linear structures, dynamic shifts and dissonant textures dominate the experience.

The album embraces a more introspective and psychological narrative, alternating dragging heaviness with more technical and ethereal sections, creating a constant sense of emotional and sonic instability. A complex, mature and strongly identity-driven release within contemporary experimental Death Metal.
