2nd album from 2023 by this Canadian Death Metal band. With "Visions of Agony", EXPUNGED further builds upon the impressive foundation of its debut, embracing the classic Swedish Death Metal sound of the early nineties. Rather than merely recreating the formula, the band combines razor-sharp riffing, a crushing rhythm section and the unmistakable Stockholm guitar tone with a modern production that preserves all the rawness of the genre.

The songwriting achieves an excellent balance between speed, heaviness and melody, resulting in a cohesive and hard-hitting album that captures the true spirit of classic Death Metal while maintaining its own identity.
