RUEVIT

Debut album from 2014 by Russian RUEVIT, a Pagan/ Folk Metal band that blends the aggression of extreme Metal with traditional melodies while drawing strong inspiration from Slavic history, folklore and ancient traditions. Even its title, "Сила русского оружия" ("The Strength of Russian Weapons"), reflects the historical themes and warrior spirit that define much of the album.

"Сила русского оружия" delivers an effective balance of power and melody, alternating intense passages with epic and atmospheric moments enhanced by folk arrangements and a distinctly Slavic character. The result is a strong debut that established RUEVIT as one of the more interesting acts to emerge from the Russian Pagan Metal scene.
