LELAHELL

First release from 2012 (6 tracks / 27 minutes) by Algerian LELAHELL, one of the first extreme Death Metal bands to emerge from the country's underground scene. Originally conceived as the personal project of Lelahel, "Al Intihar" stands out for its ambitious songwriting, blending ferocious Death Metal with Black Metal influences and subtle Arabic melodic touches that give the music a distinctive identity.

Rather than delivering straightforward brutality from start to finish, the EP balances relentless aggression with atmospheric passages, frequent tempo changes and a wide range of vocal styles, resulting in a dynamic and unconventional debut. A highly promising first release that already hinted at the band's potential to become Algeria's leading Death Metal act.
