8th album from 2017 by this American Slam/ Brutal Death Metal one-man project created by Darryn Palmer. Exceptionally prolific since its formation in 2013, SLAMOPHILIAC quickly became one of the most active names in the underground slam scene, releasing a large number of albums, splits and collaborations. With "Slam Rehab", Palmer continued refining a formula built around crushing slam riffs, ultra-deep guttural vocals and complete devotion to the most extreme traditions of Slam Death Metal.

Within the project's extensive catalog, this release stands as one of the strongest entries of its early period. Consisting of ten tracks and nearly thirty minutes of music, "Slam Rehab" pushes even further the combination of devastating slams, relentless blast beats and sickening groove that defines the SLAMOPHILIAC sound. Rather than simply repeating the same song structure throughout, the album incorporates enough variation and occasional guest vocal appearances to keep the material engaging from start to finish, further consolidating a style that pays tribute to the most brutal foundations of the genre.
