Reissue featuring 1 bonus track of the 1984 EP released by SLAYER shortly after their debut album "Show No Mercy". "Haunting the Chapel" marked a crucial turning point in the band's evolution, delivering a much darker and more aggressive sound that paved the way for the brutality of "Hell Awaits" and "Reign in Blood". Its speed, intensity and sinister atmosphere helped redefine the boundaries of Thrash Metal.

Despite its short running time, the EP had a massive impact on the development of extreme metal, capturing SLAYER as they moved away from traditional Heavy Metal towards a far more savage and uncompromising style.
