BURIAL HEX

4th album from 2016 by American artist Clay Ruby, the sole force behind BURIAL HEX, and one of the most representative works within his unique world of Dark Ambient, Death Industrial and ritualistic experimentation. Rather than functioning as a conventional studio album, "Throne" gathers material originally scattered across various limited releases, presenting a cohesive overview of one of the darkest and most abrasive periods in the project's history.

Across five lengthy compositions, BURIAL HEX crafts disturbing sonic landscapes through oppressive drones, industrial noise, ritualistic percussion and deeply unsettling atmospheres. The pervasive sense of isolation, decay and tension transforms the listening experience into something closer to a dark ceremony than a traditional album. A demanding yet rewarding work that showcases the bleakest side of contemporary Death Industrial and Dark Ambient.
