4th album from 2015 by Swedish ARMAGEDDON, the project led by Christopher Amott, brother of Michael Amott (ARCH ENEMY). Released thirteen years after "Three", "Captivity & Devourment" marked the band's long-awaited return with an entirely new line-up and a renewed focus on Melodic Death Metal, moving away from the Power Metal direction explored on its predecessor.

The album blends the aggression and melody of the classic Gothenburg sound with a more modern and technical approach, driven by the outstanding guitar work of Christopher Amott and Joey Concepcion. Widely regarded as a successful comeback, it restored the spirit of the band's early recordings while delivering a fresh and powerful collection of songs.
