DANGER ZONE

Unofficial CD compilation gathering the two demos recorded in 1981 and 1982 by Danish DANGER ZONE, the short-lived project formed by Michael Denner, Timi "Grabber" Hansen and Old Nick after the demise of BRATS and immediately before the birth of MERCYFUL FATE. The first demo also features King Diamond and Hank Shermann, who were invited by Denner to complete the recordings while the band lacked a vocalist and second guitarist. These historic tapes contain the earliest versions of songs that would later be reworked by MERCYFUL FATE, making this collection an essential document in the origins of one of Europe's most influential Heavy Metal bands.

Musically, the recordings capture a raw Heavy Metal sound still carrying traces of late '70s Hard Rock while already pointing toward the darker and more distinctive style that would soon define MERCYFUL FATE.
