3rd album from 1994 by the American DREAM THEATER, one of the key bands in modern Progressive Metal. “Awake” shows the band in a darker, heavier and more mature phase, moving away slightly from the more melodic approach of their early stage in favor of a denser and more powerful sound.

The album combines complex instrumental structures, technical passages and a more somber atmosphere, consolidating the group’s signature style within 90s Prog Metal.
