ABATHOR

Reissue featuring the 1991 "Reincarnation" demo as bonus material (7 tracks) of the debut album originally released in 1991 by this Polish Thrash Metal band from Łódź. "The Ultimate Cure" captures ABATHOR at its most inspired, delivering an aggressive and dark style deeply rooted in the first generation of extreme European Thrash Metal. Although the band never achieved the recognition of some of its contemporaries, these recordings remain an excellent example of the early nineties Polish underground scene.

One of the main attractions of this edition is the inclusion of the complete "Reincarnation" demo, recorded the same year and offering an opportunity to hear the material in its earliest form. The songs combine the raw energy of classic Thrash Metal with dark atmospheres and subtle proto-Death Metal touches while preserving a distinctly underground character. The result is a highly worthwhile release for collectors and fans of obscure and uncompromising old-school Thrash Metal.
