ULVER

19th album from 2026 by Norwegian ULVER, one of the most genre-defying bands of the last three decades. Following their recent Synthpop-oriented period, "Neverland" marks another stylistic shift towards Ambient, Avant-garde, Electronica, New Wave and ethereal Synthpop, resulting in a largely instrumental work where experimentation and atmosphere take precedence over conventional song structures.

Rather than a collection of traditional songs, the album unfolds as an immersive sonic experience built around electronic textures, cinematic soundscapes and subtle emotional depth. Many reviewers have compared it to the band's most atmospheric releases, particularly "Perdition City" and "Shadows of the Sun", while noting its even more abstract and contemplative approach.
