FLESH FEAST

2022 compilation by American Death Metal outfit FLESH FEAST, gathering virtually the entire legacy of this obscure New Jersey-based band. Released under the title "Feast Eternal: The Complete Slaughter", this collection includes the band's only album, "Flesh Feast" (2000), the "Fate of Hated Flesh" demo (1997) and a previously unreleased three-track demo recorded in 1996, providing a comprehensive overview of a group that, despite limited recognition, earned a respectable cult following within the American Death Metal underground.

These recordings document the evolution of a band heavily influenced by the darker and more brutal side of the American Death Metal scene. FLESH FEAST developed a crushing and uncompromising sound built around heavy riffing, cavernous vocals and a diseased atmosphere rooted in the East Coast Death Metal tradition. Although the band's career was relatively short and its discography limited, the material collected here reveals considerable songwriting strength and makes this release a genuine time capsule for devotees of 1990s underground Death Metal.
