NEOLITH

Debut album from 1998 by this veteran Polish Death/ Doom band with strong Black Metal influences. Following several demos throughout the first half of the '90s, NEOLITH finally captured its musical vision on a dark, dense and deeply melancholic album where crushing Death/ Doom merges with epic passages and a strong occult atmosphere.

Far removed from the more technical and aggressive direction the band would embrace on later releases, "Igne Natura Renovabitur Integra" showcases NEOLITH at its most atmospheric and introspective, earning cult status as one of the hidden gems of the late '90s Polish extreme Metal scene. A remarkably distinctive album that deserves to be rediscovered.
