Debut album from 1989 by German guitarist AXEL RUDI PELL, released after his departure from STEELER. "Wild Obsession" marked the beginning of one of the most consistent and enduring careers in European Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. From the very start, Pell showcased his trademark blend of memorable melodies, powerful guitar work and strong songwriting, while American vocalist Charlie Huhn delivered an excellent performance throughout the album.

Far from the more polished and epic sound of his later releases, this debut follows a straighter late 80s Hard Rock approach while already revealing many of the musical trademarks that would define Pell's solo career. It remains an essential starting point for discovering one of Germany's most respected guitarists.
