Re-edición oficial, en vinilo plateado con splatter rojo y blanco, por primera vez con insert (y a todo color!), limitado a 100 copias, sólo disponible en el catálogo de Xtreem Music, del 3er álbum de 2003 de los madrileños AVULSED, una de las bandas más veteranas y representativas del Death Metal español. “Yearning for the Grotesque” supuso una evolución natural en el sonido del grupo, reforzando su identidad dentro del Old School Death Metal con una producción más sólida, composiciones más elaboradas y una mayor variedad de registros sin perder un ápice de brutalidad.
El álbum combina riffs pesados y memorables, constantes cambios de ritmo, atmósferas macabras y un marcado sentido del groove, apoyándose en la ya inconfundible voz ultragutural de Dave Rotten. Grabado en los Spacelab Studios de Alemania y producido por Oliver Philipps junto a Christian “Moschus” Moos, el disco muestra a la banda en un momento de plena madurez creativa, equilibrando agresividad, oscuridad y melodía con una personalidad cada vez más definida.
