AVULSED

Vinyl re-issue in classic black wax, limited to 150 copies, of the 4th album from 2005 by the veteran Madrid-based Death Metal band. With "Gorespattered Suicide", AVULSED continued the evolution showcased on "Yearning for the Grotesque", further consolidating a distinctive identity that no longer required constant comparisons to other bands in order to stand out on the international scene. The album reaffirmed the group's status as one of the leading European Death Metal acts of its generation.

Recorded at Madrid's VRS Studios and mixed and mastered by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, CANNIBAL CORPSE, ex-MORBID ANGEL) at Florida's Mana Recording Studios, the album benefited from a powerful and crystal-clear production that enhanced every aspect of its sound. The combination of Dave Rotten's trademark ultra-guttural vocals, impeccable musicianship and a perfectly balanced mix of brutality, groove and melody resulted in one of the strongest and most consistent releases of AVULSED's entire career. Within the band's catalog, "Gorespattered Suicide" stands as the culmination of a period of continuous growth and one of the highest achievements of the group's 2000s era.
