DIABOLOS RISING

Vinyl reissue of the 2nd album from 1995 by Greece's DIABOLOS RISING, a project created by Mika Luttinen (IMPALED NAZARENE) and Magus Wampyr Daoloth (THOU ART LORD, NECROMANTIA, ROTTING CHRIST). Released only a year after "666", the album further develops the duo's unusual musical vision, moving well beyond the traditional boundaries of Black Metal into far stranger and more experimental territory.

"Blood, Vampirism & Sadism" delivers a bizarre hybrid of Black Metal and Industrial built around mechanical rhythms, decadent atmospheres, electronic elements and a strong sense of ritualistic darkness. Provocative, disturbing and intentionally unconventional, the album perfectly captures the transgressive spirit of the 1990s Greek extreme scene and remains one of the most unique releases to emerge from that movement.
