3rd album from 1993 by the Swedish THERION, one of the most innovative bands to emerge from the European Death Metal scene. “Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas” marked a significant turning point in the band's evolution, moving partially away from traditional Death Metal by incorporating industrial influences, keyboards, atmospheric elements and a strong esoteric and occult lyrical focus.

Without completely abandoning its extreme roots, the album develops a far more experimental and distinctive approach than its predecessors, anticipating many of the ideas THERION would explore in greater depth on later releases. A bold and forward-thinking work that occupies a crucial place in the band's artistic evolution.
