7th album from 1981 by Australian AC/DC and the highly anticipated follow-up to the legendary "Back in Black". "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)" firmly established the band among the world's biggest Hard Rock acts, preserving their unmistakable identity while becoming their first album to reach No. 1 in the United States. It was also the last studio album to feature drummer Phil Rudd for more than a decade.

Rather than attempting to recreate the formula of its predecessor, AC/DC embraced a heavier and more compact sound, enhanced by the powerful production of Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Although often overshadowed by "Back in Black", it has since earned recognition as one of the strongest releases of the Brian Johnson era and a true Hard Rock classic.
