BLACK SABBATH

19th and final album from 2013 by British legends BLACK SABBATH, marking the long-awaited return of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler to the studio after 35 years without recording a full-length together. Although original drummer Bill Ward was replaced by Brad Wilk, "13" successfully recaptured much of the dark, heavy and unmistakable atmosphere that made BLACK SABBATH the founding fathers of Heavy Metal.

Rather than reinventing themselves, the band deliberately embraced the spirit of their early classics, combining vintage Doom-laden riffs with a modern production. The result is a convincing farewell that pays tribute to their own legacy while proving they still had the ability to deliver powerful and inspired Heavy Metal decades after changing music forever.
