12th album from the British BLACK SABBATH, released in 1986, a peculiar and highly underrated work of Hard Rock and melodic Heavy Metal marked by a far more accessible and atmospheric sound than usual for the band. Originally conceived as a solo album by Tony Iommi and ultimately released under the name BLACK SABBATH featuring Tony Iommi, “Seventh Star” combines elegant riffs, melancholic melodies and a strong 80s flavour with the incredible voice of Glenn Hughes on vocals. A dark, emotional and unique record within the band’s discography that has gradually earned cult status among the more open-minded followers of the Tony Iommi era.
