8th album from 1978 by the British BLACK SABBATH, a peculiar and experimental work of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock where the band explored new influences and sonic directions during an especially turbulent period. “Never Say Die!” combines Tony Iommi’s classic dark riffs with more melodic, progressive and even Jazz Rock-oriented elements in certain passages, showcasing BLACK SABBATH attempting to expand their sound beyond their traditional roots. Although it was considered a lesser album within their discography for many years, it has gradually been reappraised by many fans thanks to its unique personality and decadent, melancholic atmosphere.
